What a private RTB transfer includes

Juan Manuel Gálvez International (airport code RTB) is a single-terminal airport a few minutes outside Coxen Hole. It is small, it is quick, and the taxi rank outside it is the one place on Roatán where arriving visitors most often overpay. A pre-booked private transfer removes that moment entirely.

  • A driver waiting inside the arrivals hall with your name on a sign
  • Flight tracking, so a delay moves your pick-up instead of costing you the ride
  • An air-conditioned vehicle sized to your group and your luggage
  • One flat price per group, confirmed on WhatsApp before you travel
  • Help with bags, dive gear and child seats on request

How far is the airport from your hotel?

Roatán is about 60 km end to end and one main road runs the length of it. Nearly every resort on the west side is inside 35 minutes of RTB; the East End takes longer, which is why the island is priced in three zones rather than by the kilometre.

Arriving late, or on the last flight?

The last arrivals into RTB land in the evening and the island gets dark early. A pre-booked driver matters more on those flights than on a midday arrival — there are fewer taxis outside, and the drive east is unlit. Send us the flight number and we will be there whatever time it actually touches down.

Three zones along one road

Roatán runs about sixty kilometres end to end on a single main road, so what you pay is how far east you go.

Before you book

How much is a transfer from Roatán airport to West Bay?

From Juan Manuel Gálvez International (RTB) to West Bay is a flat $55 for 1–4 passengers and $85 for 5–9. West Bay, West End, Sandy Bay, Coxen Hole, French Harbour, Parrot Tree, Pristine Bay, Las Verandas and Próspera are all Zone 1, so they share that price.

Is the price per person or per group?

Per group, in two sizes. One to four people pay the same $55 to West Bay; five to nine pay $85. That is the main difference between a private transfer and a shared shuttle that charges per seat.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track the flight number you give us and shift the pick-up to match. Waiting time on a delayed arrival is not charged. If a flight is cancelled outright, just tell us on WhatsApp and we move the booking.

Where exactly do we meet at RTB?

Your driver waits just outside the arrivals hall, past customs, holding a sign with your name. RTB is small — you will not walk more than a minute. For cruise ports we meet at the taxi/tour area outside the terminal gate.

Do you carry dive gear and oversized luggage?

Yes. Tell us how many bags in the request form so the vehicle that comes has room for them — tanks, BCDs and rolling gear bags included.

Can you do a cruise port pick-up and get me back in time?

Yes, and the schedule is built backwards from your all-aboard time, not from when the excursion ends. We build in a buffer for island traffic so nobody is watching the clock on the drive back.
